Being the catch-all for logistical details leading up to the wedding/event and maintaining a thorough timeline for the Day Of

Background
My name is Joanna Solazzo Fertig and I am the Founder of The Day Of Company. I have spent my career within the Event Marketing industry in New York City. Ten years ago I created a company called Maid to the Maids which offered planning & coordination services to busy wedding parties for the events leading up to a wedding. After filling numerous requests from clients and their families/friends to work as a coordinator on their wedding day, I realized that there is a need for a straight-forward coordination service for the Day Of weddings & events . . . without the bells, whistles and higher costs of traditional Full Service Planning. And so, The Day of Company was born.
If your venue provides you with a Coordinator or Wedding Attendant...
The biggest difference between a Coordinator or Wedding Attendant that is provided by your venue and hiring The Day Of is that the venue staff will not be with you to manage the logistics leading up to (or after) the ceremony and/or reception. And as you plan your wedding you will soon discover that there are A LOT of moving parts before you even walk down the aisle.
The Day Of works with plenty of venues who have a Wedding Attendant on-site but, if not, we can handle all of these tasks including:
Hair/Makeup touch-ups
Steaming Garments & Bustling wedding dress
Ensuring you are always properly hydrated
Working with Maître D' to prepare food for you & wedding party
